“Raise your voice” is a youth exchange, that will take place from the 10th to the 20 December 2013, in Cisternino (Apulia Region), Southern Italy.
The project will involve 30 youngsters coming from rural areas of Italy, Germany, Ireland, Armenia and Georgia. The main aim is to promote active citizenship and empowerment against the rural barriers of everyday life: to support youth social inclusion in the society, and the neighbours countries in the integration process of European structures. It will be possible connecting youth people from different countries creating an international radio-network: during the exchange they will start up a radio station addressed to the cultural and Historical backgrounds of the partcipants countries.
The youngsters will undergo a non formal process of intercultural and concrete learning. In addition to the radio sessions, the participants will be share national situation, weaknesses, policies, best pratices, related to the young people living in rural areas.
About YouNet
YouNet is a non profit and non governmental organization. We are based in Italy and we got a broad experience on EU projects and funds. We work as a network in the Italian territory (where we are working with other smaller NGO, local bodies, social communities, ...) and we got strong relationships with several NGOs all across Europe and beyond.
Some of the areas were we are more active are: social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, integration and migrants environment and sustainable development, art and culture. We work as well with local and national institutions in Italy and with democracy projects.
YouNet promotes and carries out: volunteering activities at different levels and activities of boosting, supporting and coordinating of volunteering itself; intercultural exchanges; medium and long term volunteering and learning projects; cultural, social, sport, recreational and editorial activities; seminars and training courses aimed to organisations, social workers, youths, adults; formative, promotional and informative initiatives related to specific themes linked with the third sector, the global challenges, etc.
